Senior Electrical Engineer
6+ years of experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the site electrical systems, including the building management system and backup power systems (grid power, generators, and Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS)).
- Contribute to site design modifications and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Analyze data from site monitoring systems to enhance system efficiency and support expansion initiatives.
- Serve as the lead electrician on-site, collaborating with the Operations and Maintenance team to oversee electrical system modifications.
- Lead and execute engineering projects, conducting studies, analyses, and investigations to resolve issues or implement preventative measures.
- Collect and analyze data using established tools and methodologies to support Facility Management’s decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with medium and low voltage systems, including 12.47kV, 480V, and 208V substation distribution systems.
- Expertise in Arc Flash evaluations, power distribution system protection coordination, short circuit studies, load studies, and maintaining updated panel schedules.
- Experience in electrical distribution systems, semiconductor facilities, or cleanroom environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and familiarity with NFPA standards
